Do you everâŠ
- wonder if the things youâre doing are actually working?
- get frustrated because you are still dealing with the same old issues?
- worry because you are not where you thought you âshouldâ be by now, especially after all the work youâve done so far?
The better question might be: Are you making progress?
The answer is YES.
1000% YES.
Iâll prove it to you with a short incident that happened to me and 2 engineering friends.
A long, long time ago, I worked at an engineering company. One day, I wanted to go to the gym after work. But, I was feeling kind of tired, so I decided to go get a cup of coffee. I went to the break room, got a coffee, and took two sips. Then I threw my coffee away.
Two engineers (who were my cubicle-mates) happened to see what I did. They were like, âOh my God, I know the coffee's bad here, but was it really that bad that you had two sips and threw it away?â
I told them I was only going to drink it to get energy for my workout. But I didnât really want the coffee to affect me because I did not want to have a bad night's sleep.
One engineer was like, âWell, it's too late. The caffeine is in there already and itâs going to affect you regardless.â
I said, âNo, I only took two sips then I threw it away. You just saw that!â
But then he said, âWell, no, because anything that enters the system affects the system.â
I tried to dismiss that as âengineer-speakâ because I had thrown the rest of the coffee away and I knew I would be okay.
Then the other engineer chimed in. âLook, here's how it works. He's right. And you are also somewhat right. Because anything that enters the system affects the system. So he's totally right. However, your measurement criteria for being able to notice how much you're being affected by might not be sensitive enough to notice the difference. Thatâs why you are also right. It probably won't affect you in a way that you can notice. But it will affect you in some way, shape or form. Maybe you can't notice what or how much of an impact it had â or if it affected something else. But you canât go back to the way things used to be.â
Thatâs why Iâm letting you know EVERYTHING youâre doing is helping.
- Even if it seems like youâre dealing with the same âstuffâ or the problems are not gone yet.
- Even if you don't notice how much youâve healed.
- Even if you feel like, âOh, this $hit's not even working. Why am I even here?â
Just remember, all other kinds of factors are going on.
So, today, simply focus on and celebrate your progress.
Trust that even if you are not fully and completely, (or maybe even partially), where you want to be, youâre not where you were before.
Keep in mind that everything we say and do makes a difference in the world, and every act of kindness or lack thereof, makes a difference. Not only to the people around you, but to all of humanity.
Now, maybe it's in such a way that we can't quite measure or notice how it affects all of humanity. But the more of us there are operating from love and kindness on a daily basis, the more we help to lift ourselves and everyone else.
Imagine the effect, year in, year out, decade in decade out, of having the Love Bunny Tribe share their loving energy and expertise with people all over the world?
The world is changing and it's getting better and better and better (in spite of all the things that may make us think the opposite). The news focuses on everything going wrong, but the quality of life for human beings on planet earth has been on an upward trajectory for a long time. And especially in our lifetimes. And it's just going to keep getting better and better.
But the next wave of things getting better isn't necessarily going to be because of breakthroughs in technology.
It's going to be breakthroughs in humanity, breakthroughs in healing ourselves, and breakthroughs in healing the world. Thatâs what will lead to the next level of evolution and prosperity.
The next level of evolution is an evolution of consciousness and it's already happening. We're already a part of it. This work is a part of it. All the work that you do is a part of it.
Remember you can have peace, even if there's no peace in the world. Because, when you think about it, peace in the world begins with peace in you.
And weâve got to heal this stuffâŠ
- Weâve got to heal this stuff for ourselves, for our kids, for all of humanity.
- Weâve got to heal so that we can let go of all the fears, doubts, and limiting beliefs that keep us playing small.
- Weâve got to heal so that you can finally share our truest gifts and messages with the clients who are looking for your help.
- And every healing you do affects us all.
The number one thing you can do to help the world is keep working on yourself and healing yourself. Keep growing, keep learning, keep showing up. Keep asking for support. Keep practicing your coaching. Keep attending training so that you can improve your skills. Keep hanging out with others on the same journey. Every little bit you do may not seem like much, but it ALL ADDS UP.
And anyway, you never know when the âlightbulbâ will go off, and all those tiny pieces fall right into place, the clouds part, and the sun shines through the sky.
Keep going. That's the best thing you can do. Besides, you know too much now to accept an ordinary, mediocre life.
You are destined for greatness, or else you wouldnât be reading this.
The world needs your help. Letâs get the world coached.
With all the love in my heart,
Christian
