I've said this before, but it's worth saying again.
Don't just offer coaching to your clients. Offer results!
Because people don't buy movie tickets. They buy movie experiences.
There's a big difference there. Sure, the ticket leads to the experience, but people could care less about the ticket itself. In fact, they won't remember the ticket at all if the experience was outstanding. (Just see the new Star Wars film for a ‘billion dollars and counting' example.)
Also, consider how I market my services to you…
I don't offer you personal coaching (or coaching products) for the sake of coaching. Instead, I offer to help you make all your coaching dreams come true. In fact, one of my most compelling promises is teaching you how to get a surge of new high-paying coaching clients today and every day.
Is that a benefit most coaches find attractive? Of course it is, and I know I can deliver on that promise.
Because getting more clients is critical to your coaching business, after all. And without clients, you have no coaching business. What's more, most coaches have a belief that getting clients is really, really hard.
So I focus on showing coaches how to make it fun and easy to get all the clients you can handle.
Now, it's your turn.
Think about what you're offering your own potential clients.
Keep in mind that they don't actually care about “coaching” even though you are a great coach.
What your clients do care about is getting the results they are currently wanting.
They want a rush of new high paying clients, to find their true love, to land their dream job, to have well-behaved kids, to lose weight and keep it off, to start their own business… And, it's your job to demonstrate that you're the guide they need to get them there.
So how do you do that?
Speak To The Results.
Start with the top of mind problem they are facing right now. What are they struggling to achieve? What do they believe they need to move forward?
(This is really easy to do if you were once a potential client in the niche where you're now a coach. If you weren't, then visit a few Internet forums or Facebook groups to see what your target market is talking about.)
What's keeping them awake at night?
What do they daydream about when they're stuck in the drudgery of their day to day life?
What's the one key thing they want or need changed to make their problem go away?
Speak to the results.
This is what naturally attracts your ideal clients to you. They'll feel like you “get” them and understand them and truly want to help them achieve the results they want so much. Because you do. 🙂
