I believe coaching is the most powerful force for change on Earth and here’s why I believe that. When a person is ready to make a change in their life, they have a few options. They could either…
- Go out and try to make the changes on their own, which some people are able to do and are successful at it.
- Read a book, learn the strategies it teaches and make the change that way. Some people have success with this too.
- Go through some kind of training, try to learn the lessons more in-depth and use it on their own.
- Or, Get coached 1-on-1 by someone.
Even though success can be achieved with any one of these four options, the most powerful way to ensure results is through receiving 1-1 coaching.
Take me for example…
When I was ready to make a significant change in my life, I hired a coach.
When I started my first business, I couldn't focus and get the results I wanted, and I was in a job I didn’t like. Nine months after hiring my first coach, I was able to leave the job I hated and go to work full time for myself.
Fours years later, I decided to hire a coach again, but this time to help me with my love life. Four months after working together, I met the woman who later became my wife. We’ve together now for over 10 years and have 3 amazing, beautiful daughters together.
My success is a direct result of coaching.
What makes coaching so powerful?
There are many reasons why coaching is so powerful, and I believe these three are most important….
Reason number one…because you pay for it. And when people pay for things, they pay a lot more attention and are more committed. This equals better results.
Reason number two….because you're in an environment where you're the #1 focus. Space is held just for you and you get to be the focus of the entire conversation.
Reason number three…because someone’s there to hold you accountable for the things you should be doing to reach your goals.
Coaching makes change fast and easy and that's why I believe it’s the most powerful force for change on Earth.
If you’re a coach or considering becoming a coach, it's important to know how great the impact is you’re having on others.
In the meantime, how has coaching changed your life? Share with me.
Big Love,
Christian
