How to Work Smarter & Not Harder (to get big results)

There’s a lot of people out there giving business advice who say things like “work smarter, not harder”, which I 100% agree with.

Only problem is that when most people say work smarter not harder, they actually suggest you figure out a way to “outsmart the system”.

Or, use some complicated tactic or clever trick. But to me working smarter isn’t about being overly complicated or clever.

It’s about doing the simple things most people overlook that get you bigger results with much less work.

So, here are 5 proven ways to get big results by working smarter and not harder.

#1 Multiply yourself

One of best ways to multiply yourself is with the use of marketing materials like webinars, live calls, emails, sales letters, videos, and books.

Things like this allow you to “show up” in many different places at once and they can sell for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Which leads to my next point…

#2 Sell while you sleep

Two of my favorite ways to do this is through the use of sales letters and through books. Both can be consumed at a time that’s convenient for your prospect. And, you only need to produce either of them once and they can sell for the rest of your life.

On top of that, there’s no limit to the amount of selling one sales letter or one book can do for you. So, if you create multiple books or sales letters, your potential for attracting clients and making money goes through the roof!

#3 Use the right technology

Technology will save you a lot of time and effort. For example, instead of emailing all of your prospects manually you can use email software to automate the whole process.
There’s also technology that’ll help you create books, websites, and even a whole sales funnel.

Using these technologies will make your life infinitely easier because they take essential things you need to do and makes them as easy as pushing a few buttons and filling in some forms.

#4 Take breaks

One of the most overlooked parts of having a successful business is actually stepping away from it. Taking periodic breaks will energize you and allow you to do much better work.

One simple method is to take a 10 minute break for every 50 minutes of work you do during the day, with an extended break somewhere in the middle of the day.

It’s counterintuitive because most people believe you just have to go all out all of the time. But, taking breaks will increase your focus and allow you to take care of other things in your life, so you feel more balanced and satisfied.

#5 Work on a schedule (prioritize and work from a list)

So many entrepreneurs underestimate the power of being organized. Being organized can save you hours per day and it’ll improve your quality of work.
A great way to set this up is to make a list of what you want to get done the next before you go to bed. Then when you wake up, you don’t have to do any guesswork or fumble around trying to figure out what to do first.

If you implement these 5 tips you’ll be on clear path to working smarter and not harder, and you’ll start to see the results in your business almost immediately.
