Live Events Planner

NOTE: You do NOT have to live in Miami to join the team.

This is a contractor position and you'll be working from your own home, as well as on site for certain events.

Client Experience Team Leader

Goal:

Manage the delivery of all items for all phases of our live in-person and virtual events. Lead events team and coordinate with cross functional teams and event facilitator before, during and after to ensure our events run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.

Objectives:
  • Create raving fans through providing exceptional, transformational live event experiences
  • Strengthen the positive reputation of Christian, Future Force and our live events
  • Increase sales at live events by having things run smoothly and efficiently
  • Continually improve systems and processes for events
Preferred Qualifications include:
  • Experience with successfully managing all aspects of live in-person and virtual events
  • Excellent project manager, delivers on time and on budget
  • Experience with leading cross functional teams to achieve shared goals
  • You've successfully planned, produced and managed multi-day, live in-person and virtual events of over 200 participants

Responsibilities:
In this role your main duties will be:
  • Plan all events and lead the live events team before, during and after in person and virtual events
  • Manage delivery of all event needs
  • Collaborate with marketing team, event facilitator, leadership team on planning, outcomes and syntax for events
  • Collaborate with the larger cross functional team to get event creatives and assets done (Marketing, Client Experience, Tech)
  • Work with and negotiate venue search to narrow the search for future event venues
  • Collaborates with hotel sales representative to establish a viable contract for event space and sleeping rooms
  • Collaborate with hotel event/banquet manager for details on event room set up and schedule, and any F&B needs before event and on site
  • Negotiate effectively with all vendors for event needs
  • Supervise and direct the A/V team during events, where needed
  • Work closely with the event facilitator during events as needs and schedule may shift and change to best deliver the intended outcomes to participants
  • Manage and track event equipment and inventory needs
  • Report on event planning, progress, and goals
