Putting in a ton of hours writing articles, going to networking events, keeping your social media up to date, and building online funnels may feel like the right thing to do for your business. But, if you’re still struggling to fill your coaching practice and make money, it may be a waste of your time.

I just read an article about a billionaire who gave some productivity advice to one of his employees. What he said will probably surprise you.
A billionaire investor sits down next to you and gives you permission to ask him anything you want about his success. What would you ask?
“How’d you get so rich?”
“What books do you read?”
“What’s it like to have a maid, a chef, a personal jet… ?”
“What's your “secret” to success?”
All great questions, but that's not what one pilot asked his new billionaire boss. No, No. Instead, he asked an even more powerful question. A question that most people don't ask successful people. A question that reveals the true secret to success. He asked…
“How do you spend your time?”
And here’s how the billionaire replied…
First, I determine my priorities and actions. I go through this 3-step process:
Step 1: I write down 25 goals, big and small.
Step 2: I circle the top five.
Step 3: I put the top 5 items in “List A” and the other 20 items go in “List B”.
(At this point, most of us would assume to focus on “List A” mostly and, when we can, get things from “List B” done as well. Like, if you have 20 minutes, why not get that super easy thing on “List B” done, right?)
But, here's the kicker…
The billionaire said to avoid everything on “List B” at all cost. That, until the first 5 things on “List A” are 100% complete, the other 20 do not get any attention at all.
Woah. For many of us, this might be hard to do, but think about it…
As coaches, getting clients is our top priority. In fact, filling up our coaching practice IS “List A”. Everything else – internet funnels, products, podcasts, websites, branding, etc. – belong on “List B”.
If you're not focusing on client-getting activities, you won't get clients.
That's why, later next week I'm going to share with you the hotspots to find high paying clients. It's going to be a game changer for you if you're still working on “List A”.
