Hi BIG,
Have you ever had one of those weeks where nothing goes quite the way you pictured it? You set the plan, stack the to-dos, give it your best… and somehow the pieces still don’t line up.
I’ve been thinking about how often those moments feel like setbacks when, really, they’re invitations. When things don’t go as planned, we suddenly see what mattered less and what mattered more. The noise falls away. Clarity sneaks in.
And that’s why clarity almost always beats hustle. It’s not about pushing harder—it’s about noticing what truly moves your life, your work, your energy forward.
Once you know that, the next step becomes a whole lot lighter. You don’t have to sprint in every direction; you only have to move toward what actually matters.
So this week, before you take action, pause for just a breath. Ask yourself: What’s the one thing that deserves my attention most right now?
I’m asking myself the same question.
How about you—what becomes clearer for you when things don’t go to plan?
